Erected in 2011 in front of the Town Hall, the work of the sculptor Jonathan, the Fountain of the Young Ladies (La Fontaine des Demoiselles) happily combines tradition and modernity, and symbolizes the forces of nature, the sun, the wind and the rain, which punctuate life in Provence. While the Mistral, the west wind, carries away the hair of one girl, another extends her hands towards the beneficial rain coming from the east, and the girl facing the Town Hall welcomes the Provencal sun. The final touch: a wall of water flowing from the fountain down to Rue Allonghe.
